Out of the valley and into the valley, the white peaks line up like unpolished pearl necklaces. Winter hiking trails and cross-country ski trails meander away from the hotel through glistening nature. Plus two ski areas that are different - on the Kaunertal Glacier and in Fendels.

We issue ski passes for two days and upwards directly at the hotel. The ski bus stops right outside the establishment and takes you to the ski areas at no extra charge. The hotel has a ski room including a ski boot dryer.

The Kaunertal with its snow-sure ski area on the Kaunertal Glacier and the tranquil family ski area on Winterberg Fendels is part of it - and at the same time different, quieter, more personal. From Hotel Weisseespitze, you can reach both ski areas free of charge by ski bus. And Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, Samnaun-Ischgl and Nauders are also just a short drive away for a ski safari.

Weißseejochbahn 3,044 m

New opportunities and possibilities on the Kaunertal Glacier - The new Weißseejochbahn will significantly improve the range of comfortable lifts and new slopes in the glacier ski area.
The terrain around the Weißseejoch opens up endless new possibilities for skiers but also for excursionists. Nature lovers, freeriders, history buffs or simply bon vivants will get their money's worth. During the ride along the 2 km long route, you have the chance to catch a glimpse of such a unique panorama that you would otherwise only get on mountain tours lasting several hours.
Breathtaking views of countless 3000m and even 4000m peaks are guaranteed.
You can enjoy superlative border-hopping on the Kaunertal Glacier. The gondola lift will take you directly to the Italian border 3 times. And the best thing about it is that you can marvel at a completely new and unique mountain panorama on all three lifts.

Monoskiing sports and accessibility

“Mobility for everyone” is the Kaunertal motto, reflected in an exemplary monoskiing infrastructure in the ski area as well as accessibility in the shops and rentals in town. At the Kaunertal Glacier and in the Fendels family ski area, designated parking spots for people in wheelchairs are located directly next to the slope. You can book monoskiing courses at the skischool. Simply let us know in advance and we will arrange rental monoskis for you.
