KAUNERTAL VALLEY MUSEUM THE HOTEL’S PRIVATE MUSEUM
THE VALLEY MUSEUM IN THE KAUNERTAL
Stroll through time
The Kaunertal valley museum is situated on the hotel premises, in the building that houses the campground reception. Exhibits from various eras and areas of society offer deep insights into past ways of life and economies in the high-alpine valley.
In 8 exhibition rooms, visitors can follow the economic rise of the valley communities since the mining era in the 16th century. The exhibition leads visitors from the early days of tourism and the great mountaineering era of the 19th century back to the world of today, conveying much interesting and often local information on the way.
