In the Kaunertal, visitors can quite comfortably cycle up and over the mountains in this unique nature park and glacier region. The trails and cycling paths lead from valley to valley, from east to west, over the Alpine divide and even down to South Tyrol. KAUNERTAL GLACIER ROAD AND MORE

Racing cyclists, mountain bikers and electric mountain bikers will all find a certain je ne sais quoi on the 26 kilometre long Kaunertal Glacier Road, which leads cyclists through many bends and past breathtaking views as they overcome a difference in altitude of 1,500 metres. Anyone who is lead to believe that this is the only cycling option in the Kaunertal will be pleasantly surprised by this holiday region: Kaunergrat Nature Park and the entire Kaunertal and Pitztal glacier region are host to a wide range of varied trails and paths that cyclists of all inclinations can discover on their own.

TRAILS AND UNBEATEN TRACKS

Cyclists who love descents will enjoy the Wildbach Trail in Fendels, with a medium level of difficulty: This downhill trail that stretches over 3.5 kilometres has been left in its natural state, without artificial elements, and leads through steep wooded areas in parts. The ascent by cable car costs € 10 (one-time fee) for adults, a day-pass costs € 21. The 3-Country Bike Arena in Nauders and Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis offer further trails and are no more than a 45 minute drive away by car.
